The Federal Trade Commission launched a website touting the benefits of a (fake) drug that is supposed to cure diabetes. When the consumer tries to buy the product, he is redirected to a page telling him to avoid such ads in the future. It’s a nice way to teach gullible people that silver bullet cures don’t exist, with a nice in-your-face twist.
